Is living in this corner of Iowa ever good?

Things are not looking good politically. Yet is looking like we will get what we deserve as awful as that will be. It does not help that I live in strong hold of the opposite party! Unlike where I grew up 100 miles away. Still praying things turn around but it is getting late.
